The Pearl Clutch

John Steinbeck, meet your new best friend, Fashion. Every time I look a this I picture a super eccentric librarian, complete with a cardigan, sensible shoes, and horn-rimmed reading glasses. I want to be her. Also, I've been meaning to re-introduce myself to The Pearl for a while now. Actually, now that I think about it, T.C. Boyle's The Tortilla Curtain is very reminiscent of The Pearl. Maybe I should read both and write an essay about them? Now that school is over, I have entirely too much time on my hands. Anyhow, Steinbeck is one of my top authors, I loved The Pearl, and this clutch is beautiful.
